Nowadays,
the Internet is offering us a great event and it is one of media that
our ancestors did not have in order to
get informed of the God’s words and their morals, which are
everlasting. Thus, we decided to create the
site "THEODROMION" and though this means of media all
around the world.
"THEODROMION"
is
one Internet’s site with the
apodimos.com
site where the user will be able to follow the Gospel’s words in
Greek and in English and as a result become accustomed to them.
Therefore, though
the Evangelists Mathew’s, Mark’s Luke’s and John’s texts, the
God’s words and Christ’s life and teaching will be able to be
acquired by all the people (young or elderly). This kind of knowledge is
being offered through the Internet to all
the immigrated Greeks of the first, second and third generation because
even though their ancestors in Greece could hear the words of their
area’s inspired priest and bishops, using only their voice and not
microphones, now media enable us to learn Christ’s words via any
possible technical way.
The
Evangelist’s words that refer to Christ’s life, the meanings and
morals are introduced without the influence of dogmatic beliefs and
alterations by modernists and for this reasons they are introduced the
way they are seen in translation of the 70’s. But it is necessary for
us, because of our spreading and universality, to use translations even
in Greek. Through the Internet, we will present apart from the original
Greek text, the same text in English too.
Except
for the Evangelists’ words, there will be
a scripture adaptation of 36 episodes with the title "WALKING
WITH CHRIST", based on John’s Gospel alongside with texts
from other Evangelists as well. The language of the episodes (Greek and
English) with recitation and music covering is very simple so that the
facts, the morals and the heroes that are mentioned in the Gospel can be
understandable by children at age of 7 up to the older people at the age
of 107.
This
script of the 36 episodes renders the meaning of the Evangelist’s text,
through the modern life and language
«WALKING WITH CHRIST» gives us greater accuracy on the Evangelist’s
words with greater vividness and comprehension, so that the reader or
the user of the Internet will understand better the sacred. This project
is the result of 5 years work Xenophon G. Fafoutis and has been checked
by approved theologians for the accuracy of the Gospel’s texts and
meaning. We wish and hope that this project of 36 episodes will bring
the deliverant and vivifying God’s word closer to the immigrated Greek.
These intellectual rights of this project are offered to the Non-speculator
Company with the title “THEODROMION”
with charitable, social purposes and contributes to the continuation of
the attempt for the spreading of God’s words.

attempt will begin with the presentation of the Gospel both in Greek and
in English and it will continue with additions in slow pace, because the
data requires time. The recording of all the necessary factors requires
constant completion so that this project will become work of life for
all the Greek people, in or outside Greece, who have access in the site
of “THEODROM
ION”
in the Apodimos.com.
